Case Study
National Grid Storage

We designed, supplied and installed a temporary industrial warehouse structure, covering a total of 3,500 square metres to provide the end client with a huge amount of additional storage space. Construction of the main building took approximately 2 months and it is expected to remain in situ for up to 10 years, throughout which time Mar-Key Group will continue to maintain the structure.

The structure is finished with sheet metal cladding to provide a durable, long-term storage solution. This temporary industrial warehouse is also complete with 7 metre wide roller shutter doors to allow for easy access and goods movement.

The structure was manufactured completely in-house using our own aluminium profiles, and we also manufactured the thermo-inflatable roofs and blew them up with our bespoke air pump system (the only temporary structure manufacturer to do this in-house in the UK!).

Speaking on our recent project, Managing Director Phil Grenville-Hunt commented ‘We’re thrilled to have been able to have supplied to this client and showcase our industrial capabilities. We faced some challenges along the way but the team really pulled together to deliver a fantastic temporary warehouse.’
