Drone Workshops
When our client approached us, they were looking to make use of nearby available land on which they could build three separate drone workshops.
Our Structure Solutions division designed, manufactured and installed three identical, insulated workshops, which equated to an additional 900sqm of covered space. The areas would be predominantly used to service drone equipment, so the insulation specification of the buildings was a key part of the project.

Full Service
After carrying out an initial site visit to assess the site and ground surface, we completed pull tests to establish the most suitable ground anchoring system. Our knowledgeable and talented team tailor the ground fixing solution to each site, meaning we can build on any ground surface.
Delivery
The final delivery were three 10m x 30m structures clad in 40mm insulated sandwich panels to the roof and walls. We finished the buildings with electric roller shutter doors for easy goods movement, and skylights to allow plenty of natural daylight for staff working inside.
Our team worked quickly to deliver these buildings in a matter of weeks, and the smart structures are a fantastic additional space for our client. The specification of the buildings provided mean they were built with longevity in mind and can remain in situ for many years. Their modular nature also gives our client the flexibility to dismantle and move them in the future if required so that they continue to meet their business’s needs.
