As a supplier to some of the UK’s largest events and corporate clients, we understand that is the responsibility of those across the organiser and supplier network to collaborate to create meaningful change. Sporting Event Structures FAQs
How far in advance do I need to book a structure for a sporting event?
For major events in the summer season, the earlier the better. Many of our clients at events like Royal Ascot and Cheltenham Festival book a year or more in advance. That said, we maintain a large rental fleet and we do take on projects at shorter notice when we have availability. If your event is in the next few months it is worth calling us rather than assuming we are fully booked. We would rather help you find a solution than turn you away.
Can structures be branded with our sponsors’ colours and logos?
Yes, and this is something we do particularly well. Because we manufacture our own PVC covers and components in Dorset, we can produce bespoke colours, printed graphics, and fully branded exteriors to match sponsor guidelines or your event identity. What safety certifications do your sporting event structures carry?
We are MUTA members with full supplier status, independently assessed against the industry’s best practice standards for temporary structure design, materials, and installation. We also hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CHAS, SafeContractor, and BSI certifications. Our in-house engineers carry out structural calculations based on the specific site and location of every build, including wind loading for coastal and exposed venues. Can you manage multiple structures across a single event site?
Yes, and we do this regularly. At larger events we often supply and install several structures on the same site, each serving a different function, whether that is a hospitality unit, a media centre, a production area, or a sponsor activation space. We plan the full site layout with you, coordinate with other suppliers on site, and manage our own installation teams throughout. Do you supply event structures for international sporting events?
We do. We have delivered projects in Australia, Bermuda, and across Europe, including a grandstand canopy for the Adelaide500 in Australia and the Emirates Team New Zealand structure in Spain. For international projects our engineers carry out structural calculations to the relevant local standards alongside UK requirements. Call us and we will give you a straight view of what is involved.
What happens if the brief changes after the design has been agreed?
It happens on almost every project and we’re used to it. Because we design and manufacture ourselves, we can usually accommodate changes to the specification without the delays you would face with a supplier going back to an overseas factory.
