We were approached by this client to deliver a structure to their end client which would act as a temporary warehouse. The end client were about to start a major redevelopment project of their current warehouse facility to install an automated picking system, but it would take 2-3 years to complete. It was imperative that the facility provided would allow the company to continue business as usual until they were ready to occupy their refurbished warehouse again.

This project was delivered in a number of phases in line with the client’s needs. We firstly installed a number of structures on a rental basis for inbound deliveries and returned item. This ensured that valuable stock remained protected at all times and that trading could easily continue.

Secondly, we delivered a 9m x 220m steel-clad structure on a 4m high leg which would be the main building that the client would occupy in the coming years. Waterson Projects Ltd then installed a concrete pad inside the structure to allow for easy pallet truck movement internally.

We are proud to have supported with the delivery of this structure which enables the development works and subsequently the growth of a business.
