With the unpredictable winter weather, our client chose a temporary ice rink cover to enable their guests to make use of the fun attraction throughout the festive period, whatever the weather!
Our teams travelled to Ireland to provide a temporary structure that would house both the ice rink and skate exchange areas over Christmas.
Located at the Millennium Park in Blanchardstown, the overall dimensions for the main temporary structure were 30m wide by 60m long, and sitting on a 4m leg.
One of the key elements in this delivery was the installation of our own re-enforced cassette flooring, which provided a solid foundation for our client to install the ice onto.
They opted for ABS walling around the majority of the structure and a white PVC roof over the ice rink. The front entrance featured 20m of glazing, a double glass door, and an Astro-covered ramp with glass handrails for an attractive and welcoming entrance which let in plenty of natural daylight.
The ice rink has become a star attraction in Blanchardstown, and the client already has plans to hire the structures again for the following winter.
