Temporary Ice Rink Cover
With unpredictable winter weather, our client in Ireland chose us to install temporary ice rink covers over Christmas, which would allow guests to make use of their fun attractions throughout the festive period, whatever the weather!
Our Christmas delivery includes both ice rink and skate exchange areas in Dublin and Cork.
Due to the speed, flexibility and reliability of our solutions, we have been awarded a multi-year contract for this project in Ireland.
Requirements
We supply a truly turn-key solution, which includes installation of an ice rink and skate hire area.
One of the key elements in this delivery was the installation of our own re-enforced cassette flooring to allow for additional weight loading such as Zambonis for resurfacing the ice, and provide a solid foundation to install the ice.
We met their site-specific requirements wherever possible such as installing access ramps around the structure and creating walkways to keep guests out of the weather.
They opted for ABS walling around the majority of the structure and a white PVC roof over the ice rink.
As part of our service we manufactured custom printed gables to maximise their brand exposure.

Located on at the harbour in the coastal town of Dún Laoghaire, we provided a structure to house a 30m x 55m skate rink and a 10m x 50m skate exchange.
