Supporting businesses and the NHS

Following the loss of all events for the majority of 2020 we were able to use our industrial expertise to provide support to the NHS and businesses who needed us most. Over the last few months, we’ve utilised our skills in this area, re-purposed our temporary structures and deployed staff to assist in the nationwide response.

Our Chairman David Tabb appeared on ITV Meridian to explain the impact that coronavirus is having on our business, and how we are doing our bit to help. The structure solutions we have installed to date include:

  • Drive-through testing centres
  • Extensions to hospitals
  • Treatment centres
  • Mortuary covers
  • Additional temporary storage for businesses whose supply chains had been impacted
  • Temporary school buildings
  • Staff testing covers

We also worked alongside some fantastic contractors to install temporary Tesco retail outlets at the ExCel and NEC Nightingale Hospitals. These facilities ensured that staff and visitors would have access to groceries and essential items whilst on site.

Our temporary structures are the ideal way to provide a fast and flexible solution, particularly in unknown times like we find ourselves in today. We offer competitive pricing, experts on hand to take the stress out of the project management, and work with you to ensure you’re only paying for the solution that you really need.

Here at Mar-Key Group, we are proud to have supported key workers in even just a small way. We know that there is still a huge amount of uncertainty ahead, but we are committed to continuing to help businesses and education facilities in any way that we can. If you think a temporary structure could assist your moving forwards, or to find out more about these or any of our past projects, get in touch today:
