Semi-permanent venue install
Mar-Key Group were proud to be awarded the contract to supply a semi-permanent structure in the heart of Berkshire.
Delivering in excess of 1,500sqm of additional space within 15 days, the brand new facility comprised of four structures to really maximise the area available and ensure it provided our client with an attractive and practical space to cater for a whole host of events ranging from conferences, parties and weddings to product launches and corporate functions.
We worked with our client from initial brief all the way through the design and build phases, ensuring they had full control over their finished building.
The Layout
A 900sqm Main Structure with a curved roof line designed to hold Conferences & weddings can be dressed for any occasion and provides a fantastic versatile space. The structure was clad in insulated walling and the inflatable envelope PVC roof system ensures full insulation to the structure. The glazed frontage makes the most of the attractive grounds and allows plenty of natural light to flood the venue.
The 150sqm Reception Area with glazed entrance and a bespoke decking wood walkway to the front guides guests or delegates comfortably into the venue, and allows plenty of room for welcome drinks/event registration if required.
The Toilet facilities were also housed internally in a fully insulated 100sqm structure which was clad in 40mm trapezoidal sheet steel walling & inflatable envelope PVC roofs. Finally, we provided a 12m x 35m structure which was also fully insulated and was divided into a kitchen area, stores & staff area. This makes the venue fully functionally for any occasion, and keeps the noise and kitchen smells separate to the main venue space.
Unlike a traditional hired event structures, this building was designed and manufactured with longevity in mind and fully conforms to building regulations with impressive snow and wind loadings. Our talented manufacturing team designed and fabricated everything in-house, from the structures to the glazed panels and doors!
