Exporting ice rink covers to Ireland
Our solutions are far more widespread than when we first launched in 1991. We now deliver structures to events and commercial clients all over the world.
This year we won a multi-year contract to deliver and install overseas temporary ice rink covers. This export project in Ireland occurred outside of peak events season, and would enable visitors to enjoy their ice rink attraction in virtually any weather. We specialise in the design and manufacture of temporary structures, which are a proven winner for your winter events.
For over thirty years we’ve been the preferred supplier to many high-end event clients such as Royal Ascot due to our fast and reliable service, and a product that’s tailored to your exact needs.
Delivering Overseas
With the contract secured, our project teams got to work in planning the logistics of the required ice rink covers, which included the export of our stock over to the required sites in Ireland.
Our client needed several large clear span structures with doors, ramps and cassette flooring, and our careful resource planning and logistics operations helped us to coordinate the movement of components and staff across the Irish sea to three respective sites. We staggered this to ensure that each structure arrived in accordance with the anticipated build schedule.
Installing & Removing
When our crew arrived in Cork for the first build, materials and plant were all set up ready for building, then just ten days later the first ice rink cover was complete. The 30m x 60m skate rink and 10m x 45m skate exchange area was ready for other subcontractors to dress and finish the temporary venue and make it Christmas ready.
It was one down and onto the next as our teams headed to Dublin to deliver the next ice skating venue.
With our easy temporary structure rental, our clients determine how long they want to hire the structure for which means that they only pay for what they need. Our highly-responsive team will then arrange breakdown at the end of the project and bring the hire kit back to our storage facility in Dorset, England.
If you have an upcoming overseas project, trust the temporary structure experts to bring it to life!
