Celebrating Our Double Win: ISO9001 and ISO14001 Certification Success!
The stakes were high, the paperwork even higher, and the excitement—well, let’s just say it was through the roof. Today, we’re thrilled to share some incredible news: we’ve officially passed our ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications! Cue the confetti cannons, because this is a double win worth celebrating.
What Are ISO9001 and ISO14001 Anyway?
Let’s break it down for those who might not be familiar:
- ISO9001 is all about quality management. It ensures that we’re delivering consistent, high-quality products or services while continuously improving our processes. Think of it as the gold standard for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- ISO14001 focuses on environmental management. It’s our commitment to minimising our environmental impact, reducing waste, and implementing sustainable practices.
Our business manager Aparajeeta Ghosh who played a big role in making this happen for the company said “it was a real team effort to collate all of the supporting evidence for the audit, but the team have been amazing and we’re delighted to retain our accreditations.” We would like to say a massive thank you to Api and the rest of the team for all of their hard work that has gone into making this happen.
Why This Matters
Achieving these certifications is more than just a feather in our cap. It’s a testament to our commitment to quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Here’s why it matters:
- For our customers: You can trust that we’re delivering the best, every time.
- For our planet: We’re doing our part to protect the environment.
If the ISO certifications are something you’re looking into doing for your company, you can look at their website here or we have provided a few of our tips below:
- Be prepared
Whether it’s refining customer service processes or setting up a new waste disposal protocol, it’s time to put your team to work and have everything sorted.
- Documentation and Training
For both ISO9001 and ISO14001, documentation is key. You’ll need policies, procedures, and records that outline how your business will meet the standards. Plus, your team will need training to ensure everyone is on the same page when it comes to quality and environmental goals.
- The audit
The external auditors will look at everything: your quality control processes, your environmental management efforts, your documentation, and your team’s awareness. But don’t sweat it; this is where all your hard work pays off!
We couldn’t be happier to have retained these certifications, if you’d like to get in touch you can call us on: 01202 577 111 or email us at: team@mar-key.com.
