Winchester Ice Rink
Set in the beautiful grounds of Winchester Cathedral, we installed the temporary ice rink which forms part of the Winchester Christmas Market and is a popular festive attraction to visitors from all over the country!
The a 18m x 30m structure covered the ice rink itself and was finished with clear roofs to let in plenty of natural day light and reflect the lighting at night making it feel extra festive.
We installed a 10m x 30m entrance and skate exchange area which was gutter linked to the main rink so that we could make the most of the courtyard space we had available.
The entrance ramps and viewing decks ensured that visiting guests had easy access and plenty of space to watch the skating, and we also provided a café and kitchen space to the rear of the structure enabling our client to increase their income by offering beverages too.
