CASE STUDY: Temporary Pallet Storage Canopy
We designed and built a temporary storage canopy for a growing business, allowing them to store their pallets at the back of their warehouse.
Although this structure has temporary in its name, it has the ability to be in situ for multiple years to come and is only referred to as temporary due to its demountable nature.
The structure
This structure is a 15m x 10m canopy on a 5m leg with a thermo insulated roof and single skin cladding walls. The structure uses perforated cladding to allow for natural airflow, the slats are angled to diffuse wind pressure, reducing the risk of structural stress.
Having two open bays at the front allows for easy access to the pallets and a smooth transition in and out the structure. The canopy also comes equipped with LED lights to allow for use all day.
The benefits
With our flexible payment plans, this structure will be hired until 2028, meaning there is no long-term commitment. However, if this business decides they’d like the structure to be moved elsewhere, then due to the nature of this building, it can go wherever you go. Our modular buildings are flexible to fit your needs, meaning they can be relocated, recycled and reused.
